What’s VERIFACTU
and why it is essential for your company
VeriFactu is the abbreviation for “Invoice verifiable in the electronic headquarters of the AEAT”.
This is a system for verifying electronic invoices promoted by the Tax Agency to combat tax fraud and promote transparency in the management, accounting and invoicing of companies and self-employed people.

From January 1, 2026, all companies are required to issue invoices through an invoicing program that meets the requirements of the Anti-Fraud Law and Regulation 1007/2023.
Connect to AEAT
It has the ability to send billing records to the AEAT automatically and instantly. It allows access to the AEAT to extract tax information.
QR Code
It generates a unique QR code for each billing record and is integrated into the invoices issued, allowing customers and the AEAT to quickly access the invoice data.
Custody
Concatenation between invoices that adds a fingerprint or “hash” to each billing and cancellation record to be able to verify its traceability sequentially, thus avoiding data manipulation!
